The Center for Youth: Started BY YOUTH FOR YOUTH. We partner with youth to realize their full potential, by creating opportunities, removing barriers and promoting social justice.

Overview:

This position will assist in the facilitation, implementation, development, and management of community schools' activities, events, programs and services.

Schedule: 37.5 hours per week. 12-months Monday - Friday school hours. Occasional nights and weekends may be required.

Location: Spencerport, NY

Responsibilities:

• Partners with school and Department of Community and Family Engagement to promote the community school's strategy.
• Establishes and maintain connections with local organizations and businesses to expand learning opportunities, and provide health and social services to community
• Organizes engagement for students, family and volunteers
• Assists in data collection and evaluation

Required Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in social services, education, youth development OR Equivalent combination of experience and education / Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2 years' experience working with youth/ student/ or families

Skills:

• Excellent Communication
• Knowledge of Spencerport Schools
• Knowledge of positive youth development, asset development, risk reduction and protective factors

Pay Rate: $25 per hour
