Job Description

The Community Relations & Employee Engagement Specialist serves as the primary ambassador for AISIN Illinois Companies both internally and throughout the community. This position is responsible for strengthening AISIN's reputation through employee engagement initiatives, community partnerships, corporate communications, and company-wide events. The role develops and executes programs that reinforce AISIN's culture, promote the company's values, enhance the employee experience, and increase community awareness of AISIN as an employer of choice.

Other duties and responsibilities of the MAC Recruitment Specialist include:

Community Relations & Corporate Citizenship

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with community organizations, educational institutions, chambers of commerce, charitable organizations, local government representatives and workforce development partners.
  • Represent AISIN at community events, job fairs, networking opportunities, school outreach activities and public functions.
  • Coordinate corporate donations, sponsorships, charitable giving, scholarship programs and volunteer initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance AISIN's reputation, community involvement and workforce development efforts.

Employee Engagement & Workplace Culture

  • Develop and execute employee recognition programs and engagement initiatives that reinforce AISIN's culture and values.
  • Coordinate company-wide activities including appreciation events, holiday celebrations, service awards, recognition programs, wellness initiatives, charitable campaigns, and employee activities.
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership to improve employee engagement and workplace culture.
  • Maintain an annual employee engagement and communications calendar.

Event Planning & Corporate Hospitality

  • Lead planning and execution of company events including Open House, holiday meals, executive visits, blood drives, inventories, customer visits, recruitment events, and other corporate functions.
  • Coordinate vendors, logistics, budgets, schedules, volunteers, event communications, catering and event-related supplies.
  • Ensure visitors, executives, customers and community partners receive a professional and welcoming experience.

"Communications & Brand Management

  • Develop internal communications supporting employee awareness, engagement and organizational initiatives.
  • Partner with marketing and administration leadership to ensure consistent messaging and brand standards.
  • Coordinate recognition announcements, bulletin boards, newsletters, employee communications, promotional materials, and digital communication platforms.
  • Ensure communications accurately reflect AISIN's values and business objectives.

Program Administration

  • Manage assigned budgets and expenditures responsibly.
  • Maintain vendor relationships, contracts and purchasing activities related to employee engagement and community programs.
  • Track community partnerships, event participation, donations, outreach activities and engagement metrics.
  • Maintain organized documentation, procedures, planning materials and historical event records

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve employee engagement, event execution, communications and community outreach.
