Community Relations & Business Development Manager (Field-Based)
Caring Transitions
South Minneapolis Metro Area
$60,000 – $85,000+ (Base + Commission)

Caring Transitions is seeking a relationship-driven, field-based sales professional to build referral partnerships, meet with families, and convert consultations into services.
This role is centered around the senior community and involves spending most of your time in person — visiting senior living communities, meeting referral partners, and conducting in-home consultations.
Ideal candidates bring experience working with seniors or a background in relationship-based sales (moving, relocation, home services, etc.).About Caring Transitions

  • Senior relocation
  • Downsizing
  • Estate sales & online auctions (CT Bids)
  • Home cleanouts
Our team supports families through major life transitions with compassion, professionalism, and careKey Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain referral relationships with senior communities, realtors, and local partners
  • Conduct in-home consultations and recommend services
  • Generate and manage a consistent pipeline of leads
  • Convert consultations into signed service agreements
  • Track activity and follow-up using CRM tools
  • Represent the company with professionalism and empathy
Who We’re Looking For
Candidates should have strong experience in at least one of the following:
Senior-Focused Background
  • Senior living, healthcare, social work, or related fields
  • Direct experience working with seniors and their families
OR
Relevant Sales Experience
  • Moving, relocation, or home services
  • B2B or consultative, relationship-driven sales
Performance Expectations
This is a performance-based role with clear goals:
  • 20–25 weekly outreach activities (primarily in-person + follow-up)
  • 6–10 in-person meetings per week
  • 4–6 consultations scheduled weekly
  • 2–3 signed contracts per week
  • 10–12+ signed contracts monthly
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $55,000 – $70,000
  • Commission: Performance-based
  • Total Compensation: $60,000 – $85,000+
