Job Description

Community Recovery Worker - Lancaster Outreach Service

Location: E xpected to travel around Lancaster and Morecambe and the surrounding areas and outside of outreach you will work remotely.

Hours: Part-time 18.5 hours per week (when hours are worked can be flexible but must be agreed with manager)
Contract: Permanent

Salary: £25, 8777.80 - £30,868.31 per annum (pro rata)

Please note: The salary listed reflects the full earning potential for this role. Starting salaries depend on experience and progression within the band.

  • Manageand improvetheirown physicalandmentalwell-being
  • Support the development of independent living skills, including budgeting, community engagement and access to services.
  • Encourage choice, control and active participation in decision-making.

Ensurethesaferunningoftheservice:

  • Assessthewellbeingandwelfare of peoplewesupportonan ongoingbasis
  • Maintain professional boundaries and act in line with the Code of Conduct
  • Keepourservicecompliant withlegal regulations
  • Maintain accurate, timely and confidential records in line with GDPR and organisational policies

About you:

  • Experience of working with vulnerable people or those with complex needs.
  • Experience of supporting people towards greater independence.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise workload and work under pressure.
  • AbletoworkflexiblytomeettheneedsoftheServiceandpeopleusingservices.
  • Abilitytocommunicateeffectivelyatalllevels.
  • Abilitytorespondcompassionatelytosensitiveandcomplexissues.
  • Abletomotivate,supportandadvocateforpeopleusingservices.
  • Able towork effectively unsupervised andas part ofateam.
  • Abletokeepgoodandaccuraterecords.
  • UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential in this role due to regular travel between various locations.
