LIFE Senior Services is seeking a Community Outreach and Education Manager to expand our educational programming, strengthen community partnerships, and help older adults, caregivers, and professionals connect with trusted information and resources.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and grow LIFE’s community education and outreach efforts. The ideal candidate is passionate about building programs, developing new partnerships, and identifying creative opportunities to serve the community. This person will be comfortable moving between big-picture ideas and detailed execution and will bring initiative, curiosity, organization, and energy to the role.

• Lead the planning, coordination, and promotion of LIFE’s community education curriculum.
• Research emerging issues and community needs affecting older adults and caregivers and develop relevant educational programming.
• Develop and manage LIFE’s Speakers Bureau, including presentation topics, speaker recruitment, preparation, scheduling, and community requests.
• Build relationships with community, civic, faith-based, healthcare, and professional organizations to increase awareness and engagement.
• Develop accredited continuing education opportunities for professionals in aging services, healthcare, social work, and related fields.
• Lead the planning and execution of LIFE’s annual Senior LIFEstyle and Wellness Expo, including vendors, sponsors, presenters, volunteers, programming, logistics, and budget oversight.
• Represent LIFE at community events, speaking engagements, and networking meetings.
• Partner with Marketing and Communications to develop outreach messaging and promotional materials for digital, print, email, and social media channels.
• Track participation, satisfaction, referrals, audience reach, and other outcomes to evaluate impact and guide future programming.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, education, nonprofit management, community engagement, or a related field.
• Experience developing educational programs, coordinating events, building community partnerships, or managing outreach initiatives is strongly preferred.
• Experience with continuing education accreditation, compliance, or professional education programs is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and online research is required; PowerPoint and Excel proficiency is preferred.
• Valid Oklahoma driver’s license and current auto insurance are required.

Additional Information

This position works in an office and at community locations and requires occasional evening and weekend work. The role includes sitting, walking, standing, bending, stair climbing, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
