Your Next Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Community Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of Ingenia Lifestyle Ko (Gordonvale), a greenfield land lease community in the Cairns Region, due to welcome our first residents in early 2027.

This is far more than an operational role. As Community Manager, you will be the face of the community and a champion for resident experience. You will create an environment where residents feel welcomed, valued, heard and supported, while ensuring the community continues to operate to the highest standards.

You will lead a dedicated team, foster meaningful resident relationships, oversee community operations and continuously seek opportunities to improve the lifestyle experience for every resident who calls Ingenia Lifestyle Ko home.

In this Role, You’ll

Lead Exceptional Resident Experiences

• Create a culture where outstanding customer service is the foundation of every interaction.
• Build trusted and meaningful relationships with residents, Home Owners Committees and community stakeholders.
• Ensure residents feel welcomed, supported and valued throughout their entire journey within the community.
• Proactively seek resident feedback and implement initiatives that enhance satisfaction and community engagement.
• Resolve resident concerns with empathy, professionalism and a solution-focused approach.
• Champion resident wellbeing by fostering a connected, inclusive and engaging community environment.

Inspire and Develop Your Team

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team aligned with Ingenia's values and service standards.
• Create a positive workplace culture focused on accountability, collaboration and resident-first thinking.
• Encourage team members to identify opportunities to continually improve the resident experience.

Deliver Operational Excellence

• Oversee the daily operations of the community, ensuring high standards of presentation, safety and compliance.
• Manage budgets, financial performance and operational resources effectively.
• Coordinate maintenance, grounds and contractor activities to ensure a well-presented community environment.
• Ensure accurate administration, reporting and compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
• Manage risk, safety, emergency preparedness and operational audits.

Build a Thriving Community

• Support community events, activities and lifestyle programs that create connection and belonging.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver resident-focused initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Partner with Development, Sales & Marketing teams to deliver amenity and facilities in this growing community.
• Build relationships within the local community that provide additional value and opportunities for residents.
• Continually identify innovative ways to enhance the lifestyle offering and resident experience at Ingenia Lifestyle Ko.

You’re Likely a Match If You

• Have previous leadership experience in community management, retirement living, aged care, hospitality, tourism, customer service or a related field.
• Are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and building strong relationships.
• Have a proven ability to influence, engage and communicate with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrate empathy, emotional intelligence and a genuine commitment to resident wellbeing.
• Possess strong leadership skills and enjoy developing high-performing teams.
• Have experience managing budgets, operations and competing priorities.
• Are highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
• Enjoy solving problems and finding practical solutions that balance resident needs with business outcomes.
• Thrive in environments where people, service excellence and community are at the centre of success.
