East House helps thousands of clients and their families that are seeking residential and career support while in their recovery process both in residential programs and throughout the community. As a Community Living Skills Coach, you will be responsible for educating, training and supporting the residential clients of East House so they can maintain the most independent life possible. The Community Living Skills Coach will teach and support residents with learning how to cook, clean, maintain a safe environment among other daily skills. This role works closely with residents in pursuing the goals outlines on their service plans by utilizing coaching skills, educating, and counseling within the scope of their program’s services. The Community Living Skills Coach will collaborate closely with East House, Rochester Psychiatric Center, and other housing staff to coordinate client services The Community Living Skills Coach will support staff with the maintenance of client documentation as defined by regulators, funders, and East House policy.

Community Living Skills Coach Requirements: An East House Community Living Skills Coach is required to have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with 1 to 2 years of related human services related experience. Valid NYS motor vehicle license with a safe driving record and availability of a personal use vehicle for work.
