The Community Living Coach supports those with developmental, intellectual, psychiatric and other disabilities. Coaches encourage people to explore what they want out of life and to chart their own journeys. The goal is to assist the person to lead a full and active life within the community. This role is under the direction of the Community Housing Coordinator. We would love for you to apply and bring your ability to understand the emotional and social needs and ability to interact effectively with adults with intellectual and/ or developmental disability with both verbal and written communication.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, valid driver license, driving history that meets company's insurability, and reliable transportation. Direct Support Professional (DSP), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Emergency Medical Tech (EMT), or similar experience a plus!
Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification offered through Bridgeway, along with successfully passing the Direct Support Person (DSP) credential and Medication training program. If licensed, required to maintain license requirements. Employment with Bridgeway is conditional upon completion of all background checks.
For mental health residential settings, minimum requirement will include a minimum of 21 years of age and meet the Department of Mental Health (DMH) credentialing requirements of a Residential Services Associate (RSA) to work in mental health residential settings. Does not apply to Developmentally Disabled (DD)/Intellectually Disabled (ID) settings.
