What You'll Do: 

  • Participates in the scheduling of activities and programs within the community, communicates those with residents, encourages participation and participates in assigned programming
  • Transports residents to and from planned activities within or outside community.
  • Maintain attendance record of residents at activities and events
  • Meets with outside local community groups to plan joint projects which benefit community residents as instructed
  • Assures supplies are available for planned resident activities and programming
  • Gives input to residents’ care planning- assessments, care plan goals and approaches and progress notes
  • Support resident with bed making, light housekeeping, eating support, and other assignments as needed


What You'll Need: 

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Current, active New Jersey CNA certification required, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
  • At least one year of work experience required, preferably in similar healthcare setting
