Westminster Place | Full Time | Administration Department | 8am - 4pm. Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning:
    • Works collaboratively and constructively with the corporate leadership in planning for the future of Presbyterian Living.
    • Assists in the development and implementation of the campus annual operating plan to accomplish the stated mission, vision and values of the company with the ED.
  • Financial Management:
    • Administrative responsibility for maintaining and securing resident financial information.
    • Reviews resident financial data relating to residents who might be applying for deferred status in the future on an annual basis.
  • Operational/Administrative Management:
    • Administrative responsibility for the consistent implementation of all housing and hospitality policies and procedures.
    • Reviews and revises the Resident Handbook as needed.
    • Provides for the orderly, compassionate transfer of residents to a higher level of care based upon established protocols.
  • Hospitality Services:
    • Works in collaboration with ED to provide leadership for hospitality services including dining services, environmental services, administrative services, concierge services and community activities which create and sustain high levels of resident satisfaction.
    • Provides leadership for customer service efforts relative to improving the life of residents and their families.
  • Resident Relations:
    • Conducts New Resident orientation sessions.
    • Actively listens and responds to needs of residents programs for new residents.
    • Acts as primary staff/resident liaison.
  • Marketing Support:
    • Works collaboratively with the Sales & Marketing Director on scheduled marketing and public relations events
    • Responsible for internal Resident Transfer and Waiting List proces

Qualifications & Skills

  • Master’s Degree preferred or years of service equivalent (BA minimum required).
  • Three or more years’ experience in retirement community administration or hospitality management. Five years of Personnel management experience.
  • IL Nursing Home Administrator license recommended. Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate others. Excellent organizational and communications skills. Demonstrated orientation toward customer service. Computer literate.
