The Community Liaison Coordinator oversees all community relations, media, and community communications and contributes to and participates in community efforts; and is the Company Spokesperson.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for overseeing communications with the community.
- Represents the company with community partners, including all chamber of commerce, non-profit organizations, city and county meetings and programs.
- Oversees media credentials and coordination with media outlets to enhance Eagle Mountain Casino’s news at community events.
- Ensure the company is promoted in a proper, coordinated, and consistent manner.
- Coordinates with Marketing Manager, strategic plans for media events and communicates to the team to ensure thorough execution.
- Delegates Marketing Clerks for assistance with Marketing Manager for support in social media, events, and advertising.
- Assists executive management with public information and relations activities, respond to media requests for information.
- Plans, attends, and participates in community events as a representative of the organization and speaks on the organization’s behalf as requested.
- Oversees charity charter services which includes scheduling, communicating, and evaluating the program.
- Oversees and supports internal and external events hosted by the company.
- Coordinates with other departments and executive management to prepare for press conferences, special meetings, and community events.
- Establishes new relations with community organizations and special interest groups.
- Maintains a community relations strategic plan for the company.
- Conducts interviews, writes, and submits timely press releases with approval of the Marketing Director for entire property, ensuring timely coverage of events and news, utilizing all forms of media.
- Prioritizes and handles multiple assignments, delivers finished products under tight deadlines, and adapts to meet unexpected urgent requests.
- Coordinates and develops with the Marketing Manager all media relations with editors, writers, columnists, reporters, show hosts, newsroom staff and show producers to ensure the company reputation is promoted and to deflect criticism.
- Seeks opportunities to gain positive media exposure for the property to support the community relations strategy.
- Maintains professionalism in appearance and communications, presenting a favorable image of Eagle Mountain Casino at all times.
- Coordinates and ensures timely response and completion of all donation/sponsorship requests and distribution.
- Participates with Donation Committee meetings, ensuring accurate records.
- Participates in social media coverage, to ensure accuracy and enhance the positive promotion with community partners.
- Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records, timely payments, and timely reports.
- Coordinates VLOGS and Video news releases, to increase exposure for the property.
- Support Marketing Departments Program, as directed.
- Must attend and be certified in all applicable trainings required.
- All other departmental duties as assigned by Marketing Director.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates degree in communications OR a at least 3 years Casino Marketing experience.
- Must have experience working with local Chamber of Commerce.
- Must have experience working with City and/or County Government.
- Demonstrated experience in storytelling through news media
- Experience with digital video production with a mobile device.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of community programs.
- Proven record of ability to establish and maintain relationships with members of the media and community.
- Must be well organized, self-motivated, and have superb interpersonal skills.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent judgement and discretion with sensitive issues.
- Must have a valid Driver License and be insurable through the Tule River Tribe.
- Must be computer literate with a strong emphasis on desktop publishing in Microsoft office and social media.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to handle and organize multiple responsibilities with or without supervision.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and analyze and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:
- While performing the duties of this job the Team Member is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk and sit.
- Repeatedly required to reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
- Environment is administrative setting with occasional visits to the casino floor.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to travel often.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Noise level is moderate to high when on casino floor.
- Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

HOURS: The casino operates 24/7. Schedule, shift, and hours will vary.
