Job Description

Nurta Home Healthcare is a nonmedical home care agency in Lynn, MA. We are looking for a community liaison/ marketing representative to join our team. We are located at 330 Lynnway Suite 346 Lynn, MA.

The Community Liaison/Sales Representative: will manage community relations and outreach efforts necessary to achieve and exceed home care referral goals continuously. This includes developing, coordinating, and executing outreach programs, acting as a Community Liaison, maintaining public relations, community networking, and recognizing responsibility for budgetary guidelines. The Community Liaison represents the company in a positive light, maintaining favorable relationships with hospitals, local physicians, and other community referral sources including senior centers, adult day cares, senior living communities, assisted living homes, veteran organizations, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Actively engages, educates, and develops community relationships increasing awareness within targeted organizations in the marketplace
  • Develops and implements outreach programs, campaigns, and strategies to cultivate community awareness and engagement
  • Designs marketing materials and promote outreach program
  • Leverages traditional and digital marketing platforms to support community relations efforts and promote outreach programs
  • Meets monthly budget targets, with any variances to be discussed with the Executive Director
  • Proactively identifies and pursues publicity opportunities
  • keeps abreast of competitors and provides competitive analysis accordingly
  • Participates in local community events on a regular basis
  • Conducts a minimum of 3 external meetings and/or community events per week
  • Completes all required internal reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Complies with all corporate directives positively and in a timely fashion
  • Execute weekly and monthly goals of increasing market share through account development of both existing and prospective referral sources.
  • Achieve monthly personal production goals.
  • Establishes and maintains productive relationships with case managers, discharge planners or other relevant professionals in hospitals, home health agencies, nursing homes, long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, and physicians in private practices.
  • Execute effective sales calls/meetings that identify and meet the needs of the referral partners, including pre-and post-call planning, establishing rapport, good questioning skills, proposing solutions, handling objections, driving referrals, and converting them to admissions.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in marketing, advertising, event marketing, and/or sales.
  • Experience in Home care, home healthcare, skilled nursing care or assisted living health care in admissions, recreation, or clinical/community liaison role.
  • Ability to design flyers on Canva, Vista, Illustrator, or another graphic design software program.
  • Good computer skills including Email, CRM software, Google Workspace, Google
  • Ability to develop, plan and execute craft, health education and entertainment programs for community senior groups.
  • Ability to productively engage in network marketing opportunities.
  • Must possess strong writing, presentation, and oral communication skills.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and handle multiple projects at once.
  • Must have knowledge of social media marketing platforms.
  • Must enjoy working with seniors and in the healthcare industry in general.
  • Must have connections within the facility territory.
  • Meet/Zoom/Video Conference, PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel
  • Must be able to travel with short notice as required for the above duties to clients and community locations
