As a member of the TMG Quality and Training department this role will be critical in helping ensure patients are receiving necessary preventative care services. This individual will work under the direct supervision of department management and TMG leadership and in coordination with data abstractors and Trainers to ensure that all Care Gaps are being closed. The key functions of this position are to utilize the EMR and payer portals to identify Care Gaps, schedule patients for services and to submit necessary documentation to close those gaps.
Required Knowledge & Skills
Education: Associate Degree or 2 years of college coursework
Experience: Three years of related experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.

Must possess strong organization and time management skills. Must be detail oriented and have the ability to work independently.
Must Possess strong customer service skills.
Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of electronic medical record preferred.
Ability to read and write legibly.
Proficient use of computer equipment and software such as Word and Excel.
Pleasant professional demeanor when dealing with the public with stressful and sensitive issues.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
Proficient in basic computer skills.
One year of previous clerical experience is required.
