
Your role
An exciting new opportunity for a Community Hall and Events Coordinator to take ownership of the day-to-day running of our Community Hall, organise events and entertainment, be responsible for private and regular hirers and oversee management of the member’s bar.
You will be expected to have some flexibility so that you are able to support the day-to-day running of the Community Hall and the events held therein.

About us
Pinewood is a large parish within the Babergh District of Suffolk, located on the southwestern fringe of Ipswich. Whilst the parish is a mainly urban area of around 5000 inhabitants and 2000 homes, it also benefits from having Belstead Brook Park within the parish, a pleasant place to walk and observe the wildlife.
In 2008, Pinewood Parish Community Hall was constructed to provide a venue for various community groups and activities. The parish also benefits from a Baptist Church, Doctors Surgery, Hairdressers, Convenience Store, Takeaway, a privately run Nursery, a school for Children with disability, and a Sixth Form College. There is also a large retail park within the boundary.
We currently have 7 councillors serving on the Parish Council, with 3 sub-committees who focus on management and support of the Community Hall, the Car Park, and Human Resources.
