Reporting to the Director, Community Engagement, the the incumbent in this position is responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating community outreach initiatives and employee volunteer activities in collaboration with local organizations. The primary objective of community outreach efforts is to enhance public health and well-being, with a focus on priority areas identified through community health assessments. Additionally, the incumbent will oversee employee volunteer programs, fostering engagement, teamwork, and organizational participation in community initiatives. These responsibilities will be carried out in alignment with UF Health Jacksonville's mission, vision, strategic goals, and community priorities.
Associate's degree
Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, health education, community health, health science, health administration or psychology from an accredited institution
1-2 years Community Outreach or Health Education experience
Minimum of three years of experience in community outreach, health education, public relations, or a related field with a focus on program implementation and stakeholder engagement. Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups
