About Us:
We are leaders in mental health service delivery, specialising in working with adults and young people, and in early childhood intervention.
Stride is a name that expresses our ambition – it’s a name that’s purposeful and shows awareness of the important role we play in the recovery journey.
As we embark on our next stage, join us to make a difference. We're here to Stride.
About headspace:
headspace Centres act as a one-stop-shop for young people who need help with mental health, physical health, alcohol and other drugs and/or work and study support .
On offer:
The Community Engagement Coordinator seeks opportunities to reach out to young people and the communities that support them, to provide health education, raise mental health literacy and community awareness and link people to appropriate services.
You will develop, facilitate and evaluate a range of community events, and health and education programs designed to improve mental health literacy and community awareness of challenges faced by young people, in order to increase early identification and help them to get early access to appropriate services.
You will work closely with our clinical team to understand the services that headspace provides, to advocate our services to both young people and the wider community.

We’re 100% dedicated to providing services that improve the lifelong mental health of children, young people and adults – and help people with complex needs live better.
Although Stride began 118 years ago simply as a way to help people find a place to live and work, we’re now leaders in early intervention, prevention and treatment of complex mental health conditions. We are continuing to build on the work we do with families and communities to roll out more evidence-based services across Australia.
Today Stride employs nearly 900 staff across 77 locations. We proudly operate a variety of services including residential, community programs, Safe Spaces, Safe Havens, Medicare Mental Health centres and headspace centres throughout the eastern seaboard.
In addition to this we provide NDIS Support Coordination, Therapeutic Supports, Recovery Coaching and Supported Independent Living services.
