If this sounds like you, the City's Encampment Office is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to support the City's encampment response unit.
The Community Development Officer role is instrumental in coordinating resources and supports towards encampments and the community around, while developing and implementing multi-faceted improvements in conjunction with other City of Toronto Divisions/Units. Critical aspects of this role include: conducting assessments of encampments, creating implementable action plans with property management teams/owners and people living in encampments, enabling connections and collaboration with City divisions, local utilities and others, as well as community development and support activities.
