We are looking for a Community Infrastructure Liaison to join our Construction Team in our Cleveland office. This position will support the Cleveland Water Lead Service Program by engaging in a variety of field and customer service tasks. We provide services related to water resources, reservoirs and dams, water supply, wastewater networks and treatment, flood mitigation and river basin management.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, document, and review Lead Service Line Replacement (LSLR) related work.
  • Distribute water pitcher filter kits and water sample kits as instructed.
  • Respond to customer inquiries about project resources and the LSLR process.
  • Operate hydrants and valves safely.
  • Collect water samples from hydrants.
  • Serve as a community liaison to communicate project details.
  • Inspect contractor performed work as it progresses to ensure standards are met.
  • Engage in meetings with other staff.
  • Provide essential support to ensure smooth operation.
  • Organize and maintain construction documentation.
  • Attend seminars and/or training classes.
  • Maintain excellent client relations.
  • Maintain a safe working environment.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in both the field and office environment.
  • Ability to collaborate well with others in a team setting.
  • Position will work in office and field setting. Visits construction sites and works in outside weather conditions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Must have a Valid Driver’s License

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience is preferred but not required.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
