He angitūtanga: The opportunity
Auckland Council’s Climate Action Solutions team is looking for a digitally savvy Community Climate Action Advisor to help drive climate action across Tāmaki Makaurau.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Te Tāruke-ā-Tāwhiri: Auckland’s Climate Plan, supporting projects that help Aucklanders reduce carbon emissions and increase resilience to climate impacts.
You’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining web, online and social media content and social media engagement initiatives that connect Aucklanders with practical climate solutions. You’ll help share stories about what council is doing, and a setup a comprehensive analytics and reporting process to measure performance.
He kōrero mōu: About you
You’re passionate about climate action and excited by the opportunity to use digital tools and platforms to inspire behaviour change at scale.
You bring a strong mix of project delivery, stakeholder engagement and digital know-how, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
You will also bring:
A relevant tertiary qualification in areas such as environmental science, behaviour change, community development, digital solutions, communications or related fields will support your success in this role.
