A private oceanfront homeowners association is seeking an experienced and community-oriented Community Association Manager to oversee operations for a gated coastal community in Oceanside, OR. This full-time, onsite role is responsible for managing daily HOA operations, vendor coordination, capital projects, budgeting, and board communication for a well-established community consisting of approximately 185 homes.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, thrives in a scenic and rural environment, and has experience balancing operational oversight with strong resident and board relationships. Housing is provided as part of the role.
π‘ WHAT YOUβLL DO
β Oversee daily operations for a gated HOA community consisting of approximately 185 homes
β Coordinate directly with the HOA Board on operational planning, projects, budgeting, and community initiatives
β Manage vendor relationships including interviewing contractors, overseeing work quality, and coordinating project timelines
β Oversee capital improvement and maintenance projects across the community
β Assist with reserve planning, forecasting, and long-term community maintenance initiatives
β Manage and monitor the communityβs annual operating budget and financial reporting processes
β Support covenant enforcement and ensure compliance with community standards and HOA guidelines
β Coordinate maintenance and oversight of privately maintained roads and common areas
β Respond to homeowner concerns, questions, and operational issues in a professional and timely manner
β Maintain organized records, project documentation, and operational reporting for the Board
β Support ongoing property and landscape preservation initiatives throughout the community

β 5+ years of HOA, community association, or property management experience
β Experience working directly with HOA Boards or ownership groups
β Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial management skills
β Experience managing vendors, contractors, and capital improvement projects
β Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
β Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
β Knowledge of HOA compliance, covenants, and operational procedures preferred
β Organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
