The Defense Sector at Leidos is seeking a Communication Systems Instructor at Fort Campbell KY. The Communication Systems Instructor will be apply lesson plans to both formal classroom and informal learning, adapting techniques to meet all student needs, utilizing a range of methods to assess participant learning and training effectiveness, providing positive coaching and feedback to participants, reviewing participant products, and conducting and facilitating meaningful and engaging activities. Will evaluate and revise learning activities and content based on input and observations, as well as coordinate and report on participant and training progress. The instructor will be part of a larger program and will assist the team with customer communications, team coordination, and help plan and respond to project requirements. This will include helping to plan training projects, prioritize tasks, coordinate efforts among the team, conduct meetings, facilitate training sessions, and keep stakeholders updated. Will work closely with developers, designers, and subject matter experts to create products that incorporate sound adult learning principles, meet customer requirements, and are engaging and accessible. Will require travel up to 30% and must be capable of maintaining TS/SCI.
Responsibilities:
Will become familiar, and maintain that familiarity, with a dynamic customer curriculum.
Developing subject matter, communicating with diverse groups, creating tailored learning content, providing mentoring which clearly conveys analytic expertise to students, and delivering effective instruction.
Assist the program teams with project integration support, potentially developing new course content, delivering training, facilitating multi-day exercises, mentoring students, and/or providing feedback and improvement suggestions to customer management.
Will use their own expertise with product development and in alignment with the curriculum teaching points.
Will review student progress and provide positive and constructive feedback to the students.
Will lead instructional modules and help coordinate and run exercises.
Will build or revise curriculum.
Will travel CONUS and OCONUS.
Will work collaboratively with teaching teams, other reviewers, and the overall program team to help meet our customers’ missions.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree with 4 years of experience or a combination of education and experience. Additional directly related experience can offset the degree requirements.
Must have at least an active Secret Security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS SCI clearance within 1 year.
Must have in-depth knowledge of and experience with Routing, Switching, and Transmission on various US Army communication systems.
Demonstrated knowledge of, and at least three (3) years of, direct substantial experience in delivering and applying custom curriculum.
Capable of utilizing instructional techniques and utilizing student assessment and course evaluation methods for feedback and improvement.
Experience in teaching, mentoring, and course and training facilitation and delivery.
Ability to provide constructive feedback on applied skills against established standards and guidelines.
Demonstrated experience providing project integration support, including identifying, scheduling, prioritizing, and communicating tasks; coordinating team efforts; identifying and assigning resources to tasks; and keeping stakeholders updated.
Possess an interest in learning new tools, techniques, and methodologies to enhance and improve training delivery and quality.

Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
