Blackbaud is seeking a talented Communications Specialist to join our team in Hyderabad, India. This role is integral to driving clear, consistent internal communication, supporting employee engagement and contributing to employer brand initiatives through aligned messaging and storytelling. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in internal communications, stakeholder engagement, and structured messaging, along with the ability to translate business and employee insights into effective communication.

As a Communications Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how information flows across Blackbaud India and how employees connect with our culture and priorities. You will work closely with HR, business leaders, and global marketing teams to deliver well‑planned, high‑impact internal communication programs, while supporting employer branding and talent storytelling initiatives. What you’ll do:

· Develop and implement internal communication strategies that align with Blackbaud’s local objectives and global vision.

· Create engaging content for internal communication channels (newsletters, email campaigns, intranet updates, and leadership communications, etc.) to inform and engage employees.

· Support the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) by developing and highlighting success stories, achievements, and company culture through key communication channels.

· Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, Administration, and Business Heads to ensure cohesive messaging and effective rollout of initiatives.

· Develop and manage internal communication plans and calendars to ensure consistent and timely delivery of key messages.

· Support employer branding initiatives by developing and adapting internal content for external use, including talent storytelling, social content and employee-focused narratives.

· Monitor and analyze communication effectiveness using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

· Manage and optimize internal communication channels (email, intranet, newsletters) to improve reach and engagement.

· Coordinate with internal teams and external partners as needed for communication campaign development and execution as needed.

· Assist in planning and executing internal events, CSR, and employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace environment.

What you’ll bring:

· 5+ years of experience in internal communication, corporate communications, employer branding or related roles, preferably in a tech or GCC environment.

· Proven experience in planning and executing internal communication programs, managing employee‑facing communication channels.

· Experience in building or supporting the development and execution of employer branding initiatives is an advantage.

· Strong writing, content development, storytelling, and communication campaign management skills.

· Experience working with multiple stakeholders, social media platforms, intranet and analytics tools, and brand guidelines.

· Familiarity with engagement metrics to measure communication effectiveness and workplace cultural nuances.

· Exposure to CSR or employee engagement initiatives.

· Experience working with external partners or agencies to support communication or branding initiatives is a plus.
