The position

As a Senior Communications Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Develop and execute external communication strategies, managing relationships with PR and creative agencies.
  • Manage and enhance the organisation’s reputation and public perception across the region.
  • Oversee community engagement initiatives to strengthen regional connections and support the organisation’s brand presence.
  • Establish, maintain, and enforce consistent branding and editorial guidelines across all communication materials
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Medical, and Public Affairs to ensure messaging aligns with strategic business objectives.
  • Develop and implement innovative communication strategies, leveraging cutting-edge digital tools and data-driven approaches.
  • Address and mitigate reputational risks, providing executive support and ensuring consistent, compliant messaging.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

Need to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in communications, public relations, or brand management.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage and oversee relationships with PR and creative agencies.
  • Expertise in developing, maintaining, and enforcing branding guidelines and editorial policies.
  • Demonstrated strategic communication expertise, including reputation management and crisis mitigation.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.

You will be part of the Corporate Affairs team at Novo Nordisk. Our department is dedicated to maintaining and enhancing positive relations with external audiences, including the public, shareholders, and government entities. We actively engage with the communities where we operate to address social, economic, and environmental challenges, promoting Novo Nordisk’s image in a positive way. Based in a dynamic and collaborative environment, the team works closely with internal departments to develop communication strategies that align with the organization’s strategic vision and mission.
