We are offering an exciting opportunity within Accountant in Bankruptcy (AiB) for a B1 Communications Officer to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality internal and external communications.
As a Communications Officer, you will develop clear, engaging and accessible content across a range of channels, ensuring communications are user-centred and aligned with organisational goals.
Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders, you will help ensure communications are effective and consistent, playing an important role in improving services and strengthening AiB’s reputation.
Responsibilities
develop and manage content for internal and external communication channels, ensuring it is user-centred, accessible and informed by feedback and content design principles.
support the planning, production and timely publication of corporate reports, statistics and other stakeholder-facing outputs.
design and deliver surveys and other feedback; analyse insights and present findings to support decision-making.
plan, coordinate and deliver internal and external events, including facilitation, communications and evaluation.
support the delivery of communications and people engagement strategies, working closely with the Communications and People Engagement Manager.
act as a source of expertise on accessibility, plain English and user-centred content design, promoting best practice across the organisation.
represent the Communications function at relevant internal groups and forums, contributing to organisational change and continuous improvement.

Working pattern
This role is a permanent level transfer position.
The post is based in AiB Kilwinning, 1 Pennyburn Road, Kilwinning, KA13 6SA.
The Agency operates a hybrid working policy and staff are required to attend the office in Kilwinning at least two days a week. For the Business Development team this is Tuesday and Wednesday.
