Responsible for executing large scale/ complex internal and/ or external communications within a specified function or region of Dyson
We are looking for a strong communications expert to accelerate and transform Dyson’s reputation in Japan. The successful candidate will be able to lead agencies and cross-functional teams to adopt new ways of PR. They will have up to date knowledge of new /social media and influencer-led communications as well as outstanding relationships with key target media, KOLs, zeitgeists and emerging influencers in Japan. This incumbent will have an innate ability to tell inspiring stories (and inspire others to tell their stories) in a way that works for Japanese audiences. They will lead new initiatives to challenge previous PR ‘norms’ to inspire and motivate people inside and outside of Dyson.
Working day to day in Dyson’s in-house Communications team in Japan and with regional and global Dyson Communications leads, the role will also collaborate closely with the local Commercial teams, Cross-category Social Media Manager, as well as the global Social Media team.
This person will lead earned Communications activities, from strategic planning to execution of campaigns that 1) support commercial objectives and 2) drive storytelling/thought leadership coverage that enhances Dyson’s reputation.
