Communications Manager - Facilities Management

JLL is seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join our Facilities Management team. This role will develop and execute strategic communication initiatives that enhance stakeholder engagement, support operational excellence, and strengthen JLL's brand presence within the facilities management sector. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership while managing multiple communication channels and driving employee engagement across diverse client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Communication Planning Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies aligned with business objectives and client needs. Create communication frameworks that support organizational change, operational initiatives, and service delivery excellence. Partner with senior leadership to craft key messages and ensure consistent brand positioning across all facilities management operations.

Internal Communications Design and execute internal communication programs that engage facilities management teams across multiple sites and client accounts. Develop newsletters, announcements, intranet content, and digital communications that inform, inspire, and connect employees. Facilitate town halls, team meetings, and leadership communications to foster transparency and alignment.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement Develop client-facing communications including presentations, reports, service updates, and executive briefings. Create compelling content that demonstrates value delivery, highlights innovations, and strengthens client relationships. Coordinate with account teams to ensure communication supports client satisfaction and contract retention goals.

Change Management Support Lead communication efforts for organizational changes, technology implementations, process improvements, and transformation initiatives. Develop change communication plans, FAQs, training materials, and feedback mechanisms that support smooth transitions and drive adoption.

Content Development Produce high-quality written content including articles, case studies, white papers, blog posts, and social media content relevant to facilities management services. Translate complex operational information into clear, engaging communications tailored to diverse audiences. Maintain brand voice and messaging consistency across all materials.

Crisis and Issue Management Develop crisis communication protocols and response frameworks for facilities management operations. Coordinate rapid response communications during critical incidents, service disruptions, or emergencies. Partner with operations and risk management teams to ensure timely, accurate stakeholder notifications.

Digital and Visual Communications Manage digital communication platforms including SharePoint sites, Teams channels, and internal collaboration tools. Coordinate with creative services for visual content development including infographics, videos, and presentations. Leverage data analytics to measure communication effectiveness and optimize engagement.

Employee Recognition and Culture Design and implement recognition programs that celebrate achievements, reinforce values, and strengthen team culture. Develop storytelling initiatives that highlight employee contributions and operational excellence across facilities management portfolios.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field

5+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, preferably within facilities management, real estate services, or related industries

Proven track record developing and executing strategic communication plans for complex organizations

Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences

Strong project management capabilities with ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and SharePoint

Experience with digital communication platforms and content management systems

Understanding of facilities management operations, terminology, and industry trends
