Key responsibilities:

CIO communications, IT strategy & execution:

  • Develop and implement communication plans that support Digital IT priorities, transformation programs, and business initiatives.
  • Advise project and functional leaders on communication approaches that drive engagement, alignment, and adoption.
  • Ensure communications align with organizational objectives, culture, and brand standards.
  • Coordinate activity across multiple initiatives and stakeholders.

Content development

  • Create compelling CIO and IT priority-aligned content that can be delivered across multiple channels and tailored to diverse audiences and across diverse projects.
  • Ensure messaging is compelling, clear, consistent, and aligned with IT strategy and company brand voice and tone.

Channel management

  • Manage and optimize communications across digital channels, including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Viva Engage, email, and events.
  • Ensure content is tailored appropriately for different audiences, regions, and cultures.
  • Monitor engagement metrics and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with CIO and wider IT Function leaders to ensure priority aligned focus
  • Work closely with P&C and EIC leaders to ensure governance, approvals and alignment of IT into wider organizational strategy
  • Facilitate feedback loops and use employee insights to help inform campaign design and iteration.
  • Supports and inputs into a proven industry standard digital change management model that drives best practice to amplify the effectiveness of strategy execution.
  • Communicates with business leaders and project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure awareness of best practice and application of the Change Management model.
  • Makes recommendations to support change and adoption.
  • Understands and anticipates the direction of the business area(s)/unit(s), identifies opportunities, and makes recommendations to support change and adoption.
  • Demonstrates understanding of the Change and Enablement approach and deliverables.
  • Responsible for the regional support of the Change Management and Enablement function, creating and executing on plans and reporting on activities in the required forums.
  • Adopts best practices, developing, and sustaining cross functional relationships.
  • Acts as a change agent and enables communication between business, clients, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Deploys change management solutions and track program effectiveness in line with defined success criteria.
  • Proactively aligns and secures change management engagement for strategic digital projects.
  • Supports faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the digital changes that impact people in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.
  • Quantifies the progress of digital change management and transformation initiatives.
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to less experienced Change Management Specialists.
  • Performs any other related task as required.

Academic qualifications and certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.

Required experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, change communications, or employee engagement.
  • Experience supporting executive leaders, preferably within a technology or digital environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic communication plans across complex organizations.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.
  • Experience managing digital communication platforms such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Viva Engage.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret communication metrics and generate actionable insights.
