The Opportunity
We are looking for a Group Corporate Communications Lead to join us on a twelve month parental leave cover. This role is pivotal in protecting and promoting our corporate reputation while delivering engaging and impactful communications across both internal and external audiences.
This role reports to the Head of Communications, you’ll help to bring our purpose, values and strategic priorities to life through authentic storytelling, employee engagement initiatives and executive level communications.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for a communications professional who combines a passion for engaging employee communications with strong public relations expertise and senior level stakeholder engagement. Operating within a lean structure, you will need agility to move from communications strategy to hands on execution and content creation.
You will be working from either of our NSW based offices – Surry Hills or Warriewood a minimum of 3 days per week in office and 2 days per week from home.

What will you do?
Communications strategy and delivery: Execute integrated communications plans for a range of audiences, covering executives, employees and external stakeholders and ensuring messaging is clear, consistent and aligned to business priorities. The successful candidate will be able to operate autonomously across multiple projects, exercising sound judgement and managing priorities.
Issues management: Manage issues and reputational risks, advising on best practice approaches and preparing responses and materials for internal audiences and external stakeholders.
Content development and execution: Proactively seek out opportunities to create content that brings our Blackmores Group story to life and connects meaningfully with employees and stakeholders.
Campaign planning and execution: Partner with internal stakeholders to support communications campaign planning and delivery for key projects and initiatives across the business
Channel management: Manage and plan internal and external communication channels including a regular newsletter and LinkedIn.
Corporate comms event leadership: Support the leadership of employee Group townhall events and provide strategic input for CEO-led events.
Who are you?
Demonstrated experience in corporate communications, public relations, corporate affairs or a related discipline.
Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling and content creation skills.
Media relations experience with a keen understanding of what makes news
Experience advising and influencing senior leaders and stakeholders at all levels.
A passion for employee engagement and connecting people to purpose, culture and strategy.
A proactive mindset, positive attitude and willingness to embrace new ideas and ways of working.
Experience creating engaging content across multiple platforms, including digital and social channels.
A collaborative approach and a desire to contribute positively to team success.
The flexibility to support reputation and issues management activities outside standard business hours when required.
