Job Description

JOB TITLE:   COMMUNICATION LEADER 
  Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for both internal communication for employees and external communication for the media and corporate website management
  • Build a company reputation for people inside and outside of the company to understand the initiatives and directions of domestic business departments
  • For internal communication:
  • -Create messages and plan town hall meetings for employees to enhance motivation in collaboration with Japan management
  • -CSR
  • For external communication:
  • Carry out activities to deepen the understanding of UCB among external stakeholders by disseminating press releases and arranging active media coverage
  • Plan disease awareness campaigns in cooperation with related departments
Responsibilities:
  • Planning and execution of internal communication activities:
  • -Drafting messages for the Head of Japan operation and management
  • -Planning and management of town hall meetings
  • -Supporting product communication for internal business partners
  • -CSR
  • Planning and execution of external communications activities:
  • -Planning and execution of press releases, press seminars and press interviews
  • -Networking with the media (response to inquiries and interviews)
  • -Managing the contents of corporate websites and SNS
  • -Strategy building
  • Team and people management
  • -Coordinates and supervises the above activities of a team
  • -Sets priorities for the team to ensure task competition
  • -Develops the individual’s competences and capabilities in a variety of work processes, activities or disciplines
