Roles and Responsibilities:

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative External Affairs Communications Intern

to support the Global External Affairs Communications team in driving impactful

communication, branding, and stakeholder engagement initiatives. This position offers

an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate communications,

brand management, content development, event execution, advocacy and

administrative operations within a dynamic and collaborative global environment.

Strategic Communications Support

  • Assist the Global External Affairs Communications team in executing strategic

communication initiatives and special projects.

  • Support the development and implementation of communication plans aligned

with organizational objectives.

  • Conduct research on emerging trends, industry developments, and

communication best practices.

  • Awareness of regulatory/government guidelines for MedTech sector on a regular

basis.

Content Development & Management

  • Conduct background research on key global health topics
  • Draft communication materials including articles, newsletters, social media

content, presentations, and internal communications.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather information and develop fact

sheets.

Branding & Digital Communications

  • Support brand-building initiatives and ensure consistency of brand guidelines

across communication materials.

  • Assist in social media content planning, monitoring, and performance tracking.

Events & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Support coordination and execution of internal and external events, and

campaigns.

  • Assist in managing event checklist and planner.

Presentation & Communication Materials

  • Assist in developing presentations (PowerPoint) for various communication

activities.

  • Create visually appealing communication materials using presentation and

design tools.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Support administrative processes including Purchase Orders (POs), invoice

tracking, vendor coordination, and documentation management.

  • Maintain communication records, trackers, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal functions to ensure smooth operational execution of

communication activities.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in media studies, Mass Communication, Public Health, Public

Policy, or a related field preferred.

  • Strong research skills with the ability to explore and analyse new and emerging

topics.

  • Demonstrated expertise in brand management and social media engagement.
  • Working knowledge of video editing and event coordination/management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent

tools).

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically

dispersed teams, while managing stakeholder alignment across multiple time

zones.

  • Native-level proficiency in both written and spoken English.
