Your new role
The internship will give you the opportunity to develop skill sets that will be beneficial to your future career growth such as project management, corporate branding, and disease awareness communications. Our team is small, close-knit, agile, fun, and highly motivated, passionate about driving change for patients. As a Communications Intern you will:

  • Execute obesity disease awareness communications and corporate branding initiatives that strengthen Novo Nordisk's voice in Indonesia
  • Plan and manage strategic events and partnerships such as World Obesity Day, World Diabetes Day, and Cities for Better Health
  • Drive internal communications that engage and inform employees across the organisation, while further reinforce Novo Nordisk’s position as Best Place to Work
  • Support the creation of compelling content across multiple channels – including social media, internal channels, presentations and event materials

Internship duration: 3 August 2026 – 5 February 2027, based in Jakarta. Internship allowance provided.

Your new department

You will join our Communications team, working closely with experienced professionals passionate about shaping how Novo Nordisk communicates internally and externally. The atmosphere is fast-paced and dynamic, providing an exciting environment for personal and professional growth as you contribute to our purpose of driving change for patients.

The People & Organisation (P&O) department is at the heart of our people strategy. P&O partners with business units to drive employee engagement, support talent development, and ensure a high-performance culture.

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for a proactive, creative and detail-oriented individual eager to learn how corporate communications shape an organisation's voice and impact.

You will bring with you:

  • Recent graduate in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with content creation and editing abilities across multiple channels, including digital and social media channels
  • Proven interest and experience in communications-related work (e.g. content writing, social media management, public campaigns), with familiarity in media relations and internal communications
  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines with strong attention to detail, adherence to brand voice and style guides, and understanding of approval workflows
  • A proactive, curious self-start who stays on top of current public issues, with basic design skills and a commitment to fast, quality execution.
