The role is in service of bp’s West Australian portfolio, including the Kwinana Energy Hub, (and gas assets and renewables projects as required). It reports to the Government & Industry Affairs Manager (WA) within Communications & External Affairs.
You will be part of a team of communications and external affairs professionals providing specialist advice and assistance in the preparation and implementation of communication strategies, community engagement and managing non-technical risks.
The successful applicant will predominately support activities and projects associated with the site operations and transition projects and activities at the Kwinana Energy Hub. The role will span a broad range of communications and external affairs activities, including the development and implementation of regulatory approvals, partner and community engagement plans, as well as strategic internal communications aligned with business priorities.
The Communications & External Affairs Advisor will produce a range of creative communications materials for digital and traditional platforms as well as working closely with colleagues from across the country on major events and communication initiatives.
