About the role

12 month contract

As Communications & Events Coordinator, you will play a pivotal coordination and administrative role within the Communications & Marketing team. You will support the delivery of high-quality investor communications and external engagement initiatives, ensuring materials are accurate, timely, and aligned with strategic objectives. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will track updates, manage approvals, and help streamline processes to maintain consistency and quality across all communications. You will also contribute to the successful delivery of key events, overseeing detailed logistics and supporting end-to-end coordination. In addition, you will coordinate sponsorships, memberships, and partnership activities, ensuring relationships are effectively maintained and aligned with QIC’s priorities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with the coordination, review and administration of investor communications materials and approval processes.
  • Maintain, track and update data and records to support communications, marketing activity and reporting.
  • Support the end-to-end administration of external events and engagement activities, including sponsorships and partnerships.
  • Provide hands-on support for the delivery of major events as well as a range of client, prospect and stakeholder engagements.
  • Manage event logistics such as venues, catering, invitations, RSVPs, name tags and payment of invoices.

About you

  • Experience in a coordination and administration focused role within events, communications, marketing, or a corporate environment.
  • Highly organised and detail-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Confident managing approvals, documentation, schedules, and follow-ups.
  • Clear, professional communicator who works effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proactive, reliable, and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Systems-savvy and comfortable using corporate tools and document management platforms.
  • Willing to support occasional travel for events and stakeholder engagement.
