This role supports internal and external communications efforts that build awareness and engagement around Saputo’s strategy, values, and culture, with a specific focus on communicating with our non-wired frontline employees in our manufacturing plants. This early‑career opportunity focuses on content creation, visual storytelling, coordination, and project support across multiple communication channels.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with hands-on experience in photography and/or videography, an interest in storytelling, and the ability to manage projects, timelines, and deliverables for a wide variety of stakeholders and audiences.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter

  • Support the U.S. Communications team in executing primarily internal communication initiatives, campaigns, and communications plans. External communications will be a smaller focus.

  • Assist with the development, editing, and distribution of written and visual content across multiple channels, including intranet, email, digital signage, websites, and social platforms.

  • Create and update (as needed) effective communication templates, techniques and processes as needed to meet the needs of both our office and plant employees.

  • Capture and produce photography and/or video content (e.g., employee stories, events, facilities, leadership messages) and assist with basic editing and post‑production.

  • Help ensure communications materials align with Saputo’s brand standards, voice, and messaging.

  • Coordinate logistics and materials for Town Halls, meetings, and other business update forums, including visuals, presentations, and post‑event follow‑up.

  • Support project management activities by tracking timelines, coordinating deliverables, maintaining content calendars, and ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Process and evaluate data and produce reporting to support the communications function.

  • Assist in maintaining and updating internal and external communication platforms, including website content and digital assets.

  • Collaborate with HR and cross‑functional partners to support employee communications, onboarding materials, engagement initiatives, and employer branding efforts.

  • Provide general administrative and coordination support to the communications team, including scheduling, documentation, and asset management.

You are best suited for the role if you have the following experience, skills, and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent early‑career experience).

  • 1–3 years of experience in communications, content creation, public relations, advertising or a related field (internships and co‑op experience welcomed).

  • Photography and/or videography experience, including shooting, basic editing, and asset organization.

  • Familiarity with content creation and management tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Riverside, Co-schedule, SiteCore or similar platforms.

  • Demonstrated project coordination or project management experience, including managing timelines, tasks, and multiple priorities.

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with AP style preferred.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders, including senior leaders.

  • Organized, proactive, and eager to learn, with a passion for storytelling and communications.

  • Comfort working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

  • Bonus: If you have experience in communicating with frontline employees (in manufacturing, retail, food service, etc.)

  • Travel: This role will require travel approximately 25-30% to various Saputo sites and offices.

salary range:$51,945 - $68,175

salary offers vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
