Job Description

Salary: £34,434 - £36,363 per annum

Hours per week: 37 hours

Interview date: Week commencing Monday 29th June 2026

We’re seeking a creative and proactive Communications professional to support the delivery of our communications and stakeholder engagement strategy. Working closely with the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Lead, you’ll help shape how we engage with our diverse audience, developing innovative, primarily digital communications that promote self-service solutions and enhance the overall customer experience.

The Wiltshire Pension Fund plays a vital role in managing pensions for over 170 employers, ensuring that more than 70,000 members receive accurate and timely pension benefits while maintaining cost efficiency for employers. Managing around £3bn in assets, the Fund operates within a highly regulated environment and is committed to delivering a high-quality, forward-thinking service.

Pensions is a complex subject, and your role will be to translate it into simple language our members can understand, leading on a project to simplify the letters we send. This is an exciting opportunity to use a broad range of channels, including our website, member portal, campaigns, events, and digital tools. You’ll create engaging content, coordinate communications campaigns, and analyse data to continuously improve engagement. From designing presentations and managing webinars to gathering feedback through surveys and analytics, your work will directly influence how we connect with members and employers.

Collaborating with colleagues, you will ensure consistent branding, high service standards, and ongoing improvement through data-driven insight and emerging technologies. This role offers the chance to make a real impact by modernising communications and enhancing the experience of thousands of pension scheme members – apply now to help shape how people understand their future.
