The Communications and Marketing Executive will play a key role in creating and managing
editorial content across the British Rowing website and wider channels. They will support
organisational objectives by telling compelling stories from across the rowing community,
connecting with existing audiences while reaching new ones. The role will also involve
maintaining the British Rowing website, ensuring content is accurate, up to date, and easy to
navigate. A proactive mindset is essential, with a constant focus on identifying new ways to
improve storytelling and showcase the rowing community as British Rowing builds towards
the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2028 and beyond.
This position offers the opportunity to work across both British Rowing and the Great
Britain Rowing Team, supporting elite athletes with Olympic and Paralympic ambitions while
also championing the grassroots of the sport. You will help bring to life the stories,
personalities, and achievements that define rowing at every level. Based at Headquarters in
Hammersmith, the role will also include some time at the National Training Centre in
Caversham, along with travel to British Rowing events throughout the season to support
and deliver the communications strategy.
