The Opportunity:

This role will provide technical programme management for the PBIAA on Offshore Wind. The postholder will coordinate technical workstreams, support research and innovation delivery, manage programme milestones and reporting, and work with academic, industry and regional partners to translate technical activity into place-based impact.

Your skills and attributes for success:

• Experience managing technical, research, innovation or engineering-related programmes, ideally in offshore wind, renewable energy, infrastructure or a related sector.
• Ability to coordinate technical workstreams and translate specialist research, engineering or innovation activity into clear delivery plans and outputs.
• Strong programme and project management skills, including planning, milestone tracking, risk management, reporting and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to work effectively with academic teams, industry partners, public stakeholders and professional services colleagues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare technical briefings, reports, meeting papers and decision-support materials.

The working pattern, FTE and detailed location expectations are to be confirmed by the hiring manager and School HR. The role is expected to involve hybrid or flexible working, with attendance at key programme meetings, technical sessions, advisory board activities and partner events where required.
