Why this role matters
As a Communications and Event Coordinator, you will play an important role in driving internal engagement, strengthening our brand presence, and ensuring the successful execution of events and site activities across Tunisia. This role is key to supporting our operations in a complex and evolving environment, helping to manage communication effectively while protecting and enhancing our reputation. You will be at the heart of how we connect with our people, partners and communities, contributing to building trust externally, pride internally, and momentum across our growing footprint in Tunisia. This is a role for someone who wants to combine communication, event management, and stakeholder coordination with purpose, learn in a fast-moving international business, and build experience in one of the world’s most relevant industries.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will:
Support the Country Manager in stakeholder management
Drive internal engagement initiatives (town halls, newsletters, employee activities)
Execute local communications, branding, and stakeholder engagement actions
Plan and deliver key events (inaugurations, site visits, job fairs, conferences)
Maintain stakeholder mapping and support proactive reputation-building efforts
Contribute to crisis and issue management in coordination with Corporate Communications
Provide communications support to site teams, including internal messaging and issue handling
Ensure strong alignment and consistency between internal and external communications
Work closely and align with the Global Communications and Government Affairs team

You will be part of the Global Communications team that drives strategic communications in Scatec’s markets across five continents
What you’ll bring
2–4 years of experience in communications, stakeholder engagement, events or related fields
Experience in a PR agency, communications consultancy or in-house corporate communications role
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences
Proven ability to coordinate projects and execute with attention to detail in fast-paced environments
A collaborative, proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
Fluent in Arabic, English and French (spoken and written)
