We're looking for a dynamic Communications & Engagement Manager (Change) to shape and share the stories behind our significant change programme, developing and delivering creative strategies and compelling content that keep audiences engaged and informed about the exciting times ahead. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in London with hybrid working.
You'll:
Develop and deliver communication and engagement strategies that support successful change adoption across a range of strategic programmes and projects.
Work with change, communications and business colleagues to create clear, consistent and aligned messaging.
Design and deliver engaging communication campaigns that build awareness, confidence and understanding throughout periods of change.
Develop communication plans that support different phases of transformation, tailoring messaging for different audiences and channels.
Partner with project teams to implement communication and engagement activities during key programme milestones.
Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders, providing trusted communications advice and support.
Translate complex business, technology and process changes into clear, meaningful messages that resonate with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
Use insight, feedback and data to evaluate effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement and strengthen engagement.
Work closely with the wider Communications and client-facing teams to ensure messaging remains connected, consistent and aligned to Railpen's purpose, values and operating strategy.

We're looking for an experienced communications professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping organisations navigate change.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
Significant communications experience within a large, complex organisation.
A proven track record of delivering successful transformation, change or employee engagement communications programmes.
Experience leading communication campaigns that drive awareness, understanding and behavioural change.
The ability to turn complex business, technology and process topics into clear, engaging and practical messages.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to advise and influence senior leaders.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Experience using data, feedback and measurable outcomes to evaluate and improve communication effectiveness.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
Experience supporting digital, technology, operational or cultural change programmes.
A collaborative and empathetic approach, recognising the importance of the people side of change and helping to win hearts and minds.
A strong sense of ownership, integrity and personal accountability, balanced with a team-first mindset and belief that we succeed together.
