About the Role

The Communications & CSR Manager is responsible for leading corporate communications, brand reputation management, internal communications, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategies to strengthen AIA Cambodia’s credibility, stakeholder trust, and social impact.

The role plays a critical part in shaping and protecting the corporate brand through strategic storytelling, media engagement, leadership communications, and responsible business initiatives. It also leads the planning and execution of CSR and sustainability programmes aligned with AIA Group priorities, national development needs, and AIA Cambodia’s purpose of helping people live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.

Corporate Communications & Brand Reputation

1. External Communications

  • Develop and execute integrated corporate communication strategies to strengthen AIA Cambodia’s brand reputation, credibility, and trust.

  • Lead media relations, PR planning, press releases, interviews, and media responses; act as key liaison with journalists and opinion leaders.

  • Drive corporate storytelling, thought leadership, and executive visibility in alignment with AIA Group messaging.

  • Manage crisis communication planning and execution to protect the company’s reputation.

  • Lead awards submissions and leverage recognitions to enhance brand positioning.

  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance of messaging across all external channels.

2. Internal Communications

  • Lead internal communications strategy across Intranet, ExpressCom, townhalls, and internal platforms.

  • Develop and deliver CEO messages, leadership communications, speeches, and internal campaigns aligned to brand promise and tone of voice.

  • Drive employee engagement and alignment with company strategy, culture, and transformation initiatives.

  • Develop corporate profiles, company credentials, board‑level materials, and corporate reports.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & Sustainability

  • Develop and implement AIA Cambodia’s CSR and sustainability strategy in alignment with AIA Group ESG pillars and local community needs.

  • Lead flagship CSR programmes such as health, wellness, education, financial literacy, and community partnerships.

  • Manage partnerships with NGOs, government bodies, schools, and community organisations.

  • Plan and deliver high‑impact CSR campaigns that engage employees and external stakeholders.

  • Measure, document, and report CSR outcomes and impact for internal reporting, media use, and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure CSR initiatives strengthen brand trust, employee pride, and long‑term societal value.

Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement

  • Act as strategic communications advisor to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Collaborate closely with internal functions (Marketing, HR, Distributions, Product, Operations, Compliance, Legal and IT) to ensure message alignment.

  • Manage agencies, PR firms, creative partners, and CSR partners to deliver quality outputs on time and within budget.

Brand Governance & Content Oversight

  • Safeguard brand guidelines, tone of voice, and corporate identity across all communications.

  • Oversee corporate content development, including speeches, reports, messaging frameworks, and official statements.

  • Ensure communications are culturally relevant, clear, and aligned with corporate values.

Performance Reporting, Budget & ROI Management

  • Provide regular reporting on communications, CSR programmes, events, and corporate initiatives.

  • Manage communications and CSR budgets with strong ROI discipline and cost control.

  • Conduct post‑campaign and post‑programme reviews and provide insights and recommendations.

Risk, Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure all communications, CSR activities, partnerships, and events adhere to regulatory, legal, brand, and data privacy requirements.

  • Maintain proper documentation, approvals, and audit trails in line with governance standards.
