About CSARC:

The CIP – South
Asia Regional Center (CSARC), Agra, serves as a key hub for agricultural
research and development focused on potato and sweetpotato systems in South
Asia. The center supports research initiatives aimed at improving crop
productivity, climate resilience, and sustainable farming practices. It
collaborates with national research institutions, government agencies, private
players and development partners to promote innovative agricultural solutions.


About the position:

The

Communication
Analyst

will support communication, branding, multimedia, and outreach
activities for the CIP South Asia Regional Centre (CSARC) and CIP initiatives
in the South Asia region.

The role will
contribute to the development of

communication materials, digital content,
social media activities, and event communications in alignment with CIP
communication standards and institutional guidelines.


Key
responsibilities:


  • Prepare communication and visibility materials for institutional and
    project activities in alignment with approved branding and communication
    guidelines.

  • Develop multimedia and visual content, including presentations, social
    media graphics, brochures, newsletters, and outreach materials

  • Create clear and audience-friendly content from technical and project
    information for internal and external communication.

  • Assist in managing social media content and digital communication activities
    for institutional campaigns, workshops, events, and project initiatives.


Engagement:


  • Support communication requests from scientists, project teams, and
    administrative units by collecting communication inputs and preparing draft
    materials.

  • Liaise with vendors, printers, photographers, and service providers to
    support production and delivery of communication materials.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather communication inputs and
    deliver outreach materials.

  • Assist in documenting institutional events and activities through
    photography, videography, and content compilation.

  • Review communication materials for formatting, quality and branding
    consistency prior to publication or dissemination.

  • Maintain organized filing and version control of communication and
    multimedia materials to support accessibility and proper record management.


Requirements


Educational
Qualifications and experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing,
    Multimedia, Public Relations,

    or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in communication, multimedia
    production, branding, outreach, or related fields.

  • Experience working with international organizations, NGOs, research
    institutions, or development programs is desirable.
