You will support the Internal Communications team, within Human Resources, in the execution and reporting of a variety of internal communications plans and programs. This role helps shape how employees understand company priorities, connect to culture, and engage with key initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will support them on the planning and execution of communications that align with Internal Communications and Human Resources goals, and corporate priorities.
Location: You will be based in our Etobicoke office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
Reporting Relationship You will report to Director, Internal Communications.
Posting Type: Replacement.
Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $57,000-$80,000.
Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
Review, track and manage all requests for Internal Communications support, ensuring timely coordination and delivery.
Manage the corporate content calendar by collaborating with cross-functional partners to plan, prioritize and execute communications in a timely manner.
Write and edit communications for a range of internal audiences including employee news stories for MyMoneris (intranet), Viva Engage posts, presentations, and employee surveys.
Partner with project teams to identify internal communications needs, recommended channels, and develop and distribute supporting materials.
Review and refine communications drafted by business partners to ensure messaging is consistent with corporate brand standards and voice.
Measure and monitor channel performance and provide recommendations to improve employee reach and engagement.
Support internal events such as town halls, webinars, and employee recognition programs, by developing communication materials and providing logistics support as needed.
Support executive communications as required.
Assist in developing internal communications that support organizational change, ensuring employees are informed and supported.
Your Moneris Career - What you bring
Required skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution.
2 - 4 years of experience in a communications role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to understand and communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
Experience using tools such as SharePoint, Viva Engage, PowerPoint, Marketing Cloud, and other Microsoft 365 applications, including Copilot.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and stakeholders with competing timelines.
Proactive, adaptable, results- and deadline-driven.
Experience that would set you apart
Experience with basic graphic design using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar desktop publishing tools.
Experience using Marketing Cloud is an asset.
Experience using AI to enhance communications, support content development, editing and workflow efficiency.
Bilingual in French (reading, writing, and speaking) is considered an asset.
