About the Role

The incumbent plays a pivotal in ensuring that healthcare-related updates and messages are communicated clearly, effectively, to the agents and customers. This position is responsible for developing and delivering communication content that supports the channel understanding and adoption, while ensuring alignment with corporate messaging and regulatory requirements. The role also ensures communication materials are tailored to audience needs and effectively support channel engagement objectives

​Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all communications are accurate, timely, and aligned with brand tone and regulatory requirements. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand upcoming initiatives and proactively plan communication needs.
  • Develop and execute a variety of internal communications including newsletters, video messages and general communications.
  • Develop and manage customer-facing communication strategies. Simplify complex healthcare updates for agents and customers.
  • Serve as “editor-in-chief” for Health Services communications. Ensure alignment with Corporate Communications and Marketing on key messages.
  • Monitor and evaluate communication effectiveness and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure all communications adhere to internal governance frameworks and approval processes.
  • Maintain an organized repository of communications for reference, audit, and knowledge continuity.

Minimum Job Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications (i.e. Mass Communication, Business Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Journalism) or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in corporate communications, preferably in insurance, healthcare, or financial services.

Preferred skills and competencies:

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills in English (Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin are a plus).
  • Strong understanding of digital communication platforms and user behaviour.
  • Ability to translate complex healthcare or product information into clear, engaging messages.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), basic design tools, or analytics platforms is an advantage.
  • Proficient in design and publishing software (Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, etc.)
