Communication Specialist - Communication and MarketingThis position is responsible for research and communication strategies in providing information to the media, the public and internal audiences. Determines content topics, coordinates with others to obtain information, writes, edits and sends to internal and external audiences. Prepares the production of press releases, announcements, and internal communication as needed. This position will report to the Director of Communications.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s Degree and one (1) year of work experience in marketing, communications, or public relations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Good knowledge of effective communication both verbally and written and social media, and experience in thinking critically and using creative ways to solve problems. Project management and time management. Excellent writing skills, grammar and proofreading skills and excellent organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
