Brief Statement of Duties: Primary Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in interpersonal communication, environmental communication, research methods, and persuasion. Fulfill standard faculty responsibilities, departmental service, and a willingness and ability to develop interdisciplinary collaborations.
Additional preferred qualifications include the ability to teach additional courses within the department (i.e., media studies) or other areas aligned with the candidate’s expertise. Further experience with advising or supporting department specific student organizations (e.g. the CAMS Debate Team and/or COMM Club) and/or professional experience in environmental policy communication is preferred. This is a campus based position. This position is not available for sponsorship.
Required Education: Master's Degree
Discipline/Degree Area: Communication Studies; Speech, Public Relations or related field
Required Specialized Training/Certifications: Master's of Arts or Master's of Science required
Required Minimum Work Experience: Minimum of three years of prior higher education teaching experience required.
