Communication Generalist Senior Expert EUROPE

Join CEVA Logistica Empresarial, LDA. as a pivotal member of our Communications and Marketing division, where your expertise will drive impactful messaging and strategic communication initiatives across Europe. Located in Alges, the role places you at the heart of our Media Relations and Corporate Content unit within the dynamic logistics sector.

About the Role

As a Communication Generalist Senior Expert, you will play an essential role in shaping and delivering our corporate story, enhancing brand reputation, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You bring a wealth of experience in communication strategy, media relations, and content creation, enabling you to craft compelling narratives that resonate across diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive communication strategies aligned with CEVA's business goals and values across the European market.
  • Create, edit, and oversee corporate content including press releases, media briefs, speeches, newsletters, and digital communications ensuring consistency and engagement.
  • Lead media relations efforts by building and maintaining productive relationships with journalists, media outlets, and industry influencers to secure positive coverage and manage reputation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, logistics operations, and executive leadership to ensure cohesive messaging and support business initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyse communication effectiveness through metrics and feedback, adjusting strategies to optimise impact.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior communications professionals within the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activities affecting the logistics and communications landscape in Europe.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven senior-level experience in corporate communication or public relations, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear, engaging content.
  • Strong understanding of media relations, digital communication channels, and content management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic communication plans and execute projects effectively with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in English with excellent command of grammar and style; additional European languages are an asset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and adapt communication style to varied audiences.
  • Experience working within or alongside marketing and operational teams to align communication with broader organisational objectives.
