Introduction

The Event Management Team is part of ASML’s Communications, Brand & Digital organization. The team enables corporate events with a high strategic business impact and strong reputational value. During this Communication | Event Management internship, you support the preparation and execution of professional corporate events. You work closely with experienced event managers and contribute to high‑quality, on‑brand event experiences. This Communication | Event Management internship offers hands‑on experience in an international and collaborative environment.

Your assignment

During this Communication | Event Management internship, you support the full event lifecycle, from early preparation to execution and evaluation. You contribute to delivering well‑organized and impactful events that support ASML’s business and goals. You work with multiple stakeholders and gain practical experience in a professional setting.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Support the planning and execution of ASML corporate events from preparation to wrap‑up

• Assist with event logistics such as venues, catering, technical requirements, and on‑site support

• Prepare event schedules, briefings, checklists, and production documentation

• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders under guidance of experienced event managers

• Support basic budget tracking, quotations, and event‑related administration

• Ensure events align with ASML brand guidelines, safety standards, and internal processes

• Support post‑event evaluations and reporting to capture learnings and improvement areas
  

This is a non‑thesis internship with a duration of minimum of 6 months, starting in early September 2026.

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

• Are a bachelor’s or master’s student in Event management, Communication, Hospitality management, or a related field

• Have strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Work in a structured, detail‑oriented, and organized way

• Are proactive, collaborative, and flexible when supporting multiple activities

• Show empathy, patience, and stress resilience in dynamic event environments

Other requirements you need to meet:

• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;

• Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;

• You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.

• If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
