Your new role
As a Media Relations Coordinator, you'll be the guardian of Novo Nordisk's institutional brand and corporate narrative in Brazil. This isn't your typical communications role – you'll balance high-impact media exposure with the strategic rigor of risk management in a highly regulated, fast-paced environment where every story matters.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Coordinating institutional, product, and disease education media relations to strengthen brand presence across multiple channels
Proactively defining and coordinating risk management plans to safeguard corporate and brand reputation during critical moments
Analyzing and coordinating participation in strategic external events, rankings and awards that elevate our institutional profile
Leading communication partners, including PR agencies and consultancies, ensuring excellence and creative output
Managing reputation data and delivering executive reports with media and social media trend analysis to Affiliate, Regional, and Global stakeholders
Monitoring media landscape and facilitating internal follow-ups across business areas to ensure reputation action plans are met
Translating complex healthcare topics into compelling narratives for journalists, influencers, and the general public
Hybrid work arrangement (3-4 days per week in the office).

Within our Brazil operations, the Communications team plays a vital role in connecting our purpose and innovation to diverse audiences—from patients and healthcare professionals to digital influencers and technology partners. You'll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your strategic thinking will help shape how we engage with one of our most important markets.
Your skills and qualifications
We're seeking a reputation strategist with a sharp eye for media trends and the professional maturity to manage complex stakeholder landscapes. You'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in Journalism or Public Relations (specialization/master's degree in Corporate Communications is desired)
Fluency in English and Portuguese, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proven experience managing communication agencies and external partners, bringing out the best in creative teams
Strong analytical profile with the ability to make data-driven decisions while maintaining creative sensitivity
High emotional intelligence and professional maturity to manage pressure, crisis situations, and multiple stakeholders across different levels
Agile mindset with the ability to respond quickly, think creatively, and find non-obvious solutions for complex reputation challenges
Experience in media relations and organic influencer relations in corporate environments. Healthcare or highly regulated industries will be a differencial.
