Role Purpose

The Communication Business Partner for the Technology Organisation is responsible for the strategic leadership and groupwide coordination of the execution of all communications activities within the Technology Organisation and its subdivisions. The role also encompasses overall responsibility for and coordination of internal and external communications, including employer branding, and social media for the Krakow office. By ensuring alignment with Euroclear Group’s communication strategy, the position drives consistent messaging, stakeholder engagement, and the promotion of Krakow as a centre of excellence and an employer of choice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordination of Communicators within Technology Division: Lead and coordinate the team of communicators within the Technology Division and its subdivisions, fostering collaboration and an effective, unified & consistent approach to all communication activities in line with the Group Strategy. Collaborate closely with the CIO Office and have quarterly plannings and reviews with them.
  • Trusted advisor to the business: Understand the needs of Leadership and translate messages in the right way to different audiences. Understand the needs of the colleagues and bring back to management. Establish feedback mechanisms and measure effectiveness in line with the Group strategy.
  • Strategic Communication Planning: Develop, implement, and refine the divisional communication strategy and plans for the Technology Division and Krakow office, ensuring responsiveness to evolving business and organisational needs. Align local initiatives with broader Group objectives and branding.
  • Content Creation: Be the point of contact for communications with appropriate levels of technology knowledge. Drive the creation, curation, and dissemination of compelling written, visual, and audio-visual content for internal and external channels, including intranet (Hub), newsletters, presentations, events, and social media.
  • Media and Channel Management: The media mix is defined at Group Level and should be consistently implemented locally and in the different divisions
  • Employer Branding: Champion the Krakow office as an employer of choice, developing and executing employer branding campaigns and initiatives that highlight the office’s culture, opportunities, and achievements. Coordinate the local campaigns with the relevant agencies and people involved within the organisation.
  • Event Management: Plan and coordinate key divisional and office events, such as town halls, management updates ensuring high levels of employee engagement and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Change, Crisis and External Communications: Lead change communications for major transformation programmes in line with Group guidelines. Manage crisis communications in collaboration with the Group Communications and crisis management teams, safeguarding the reputation and clarity of messaging for the Technology Division and Krakow office. Be a brand champion.
  • Training and Development: Provide training, coaching, and presentations to managers and communicators within the Technology Division and Krakow office, enhancing communication skills and ensuring adherence to Group policies and standards.

Key Skills

  • Leadership & Team Coordination: Demonstrable experience in leading and coordinating cross-functional communication teams, preferably within technology or financial sectors.
  • Strategic Communication: Proven ability to develop and execute communication strategies for complex organisations and technology-driven environments.
  • Content Creation: Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills; ability to craft engaging narratives and adapt messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Media Management: Experience managing digital platforms, intranet, events social media, and external media relations.
  • Employer Branding: Experience in designing and delivering employer branding initiatives for technology talent markets.
  • Project Management: Strong organisational and project management skills; ability to prioritise, deliver, and exercise sound judgement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills across all organisational levels.
  • Crisis & Change Communication: Experience in managing crisis situations and leading communication for transformation programmes.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to use metrics, data, and feedback to evaluate and enhance communication effectiveness.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of the technology sector and/or financial market infrastructure, or willingness to learn.
  • Digital & Data Trends: Awareness of emerging trends in digital communications, data analytics, and interactive media.
  • Languages: Fluent in English; Polish and other languages are an asset.
