Job Description

At the Rogers Behavioral Health Foundation, communications are not just about visibility—they are a critical driver of access to care. This role offers a unique opportunity to help shape campaigns that raise awareness, engage communities, and support philanthropic efforts that ensure more individuals can receive life-saving mental health and addiction treatment. As an intern, your work will contribute directly to how we tell our story, build momentum for future fundraising, and expand our impact.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of integrated marketing and communications campaigns designed to increase awareness, strengthen engagement, and lay the groundwork for future fundraising initiatives, including the annual fund.
  • Create and manage content across digital platforms, including the Foundation website, intranet, social media (Facebook), and email campaigns (Mailchimp), helping to expand reach and deepen audience connection.
  • Contribute to the development of compelling written materials, including newsletters, campaign messaging, donor communications, and website content.
  • Assist in storytelling efforts that highlight the Foundation’s impact, translating complex work into clear, engaging narratives for external audiences.
  • Support research and content development for strategic communications initiatives, including targeted outreach and donor engagement efforts.
  • Provide communications support for key Foundation events, including the Rogers Golf Classic, Women’s Gathering, and Celebrate the Light Gala.
  • Collaborate as an active member of the Foundation team, gaining exposure to nonprofit marketing, communications strategy, and donor engagement.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment by communicating effectively, demonstrating professionalism, and engaging with diverse perspectives.
  • Remain adaptable and open to new ideas, supporting evolving priorities and initiatives within a dynamic organization.
  • Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Additional Job Description:

Education/Training Requirements

  • Computer proficiency and working knowledge Windows packages such as Microsoft® Word and Excel. Microsoft® Publisher experience helpful.

  • High school diploma required.
